The last thing you need to do when you're juggling new life, demanding baby, lack of sleep and possible baby blues is laundry (no matter how much support you have got). They are lightweight and pack away neatly. My husband mistakenly washed one and guess what? They are machine washable and come out just as they went in. Excellent. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I ordered a size too big (bear in mind these are huge so maybe order a size smaller? I'm a size 14 and should have ordered a 12) so I don't know how well they would have fit if there were my size. Another tip for expectant mothers, when you go into labour (before you get to that point where you don't care who's looking down there or before your water breaks)you might want to wear them with your labour gown to maintain some dignity. Can also be used for travels.
The quality of the material is good and the size quite generous compared to other brands I tried. I found these briefs very comfortable especially after a c-section.
My wife found these to be ideal during her maternity time. The briefs were easy to get on considering she had a C-Section and so found it hard to move. The briefs were large enough to accomodate the special post pregancy pads she had to wear and also to accomodate the stitching bandages and pads without causing to much discomfort. The pads come rolled very tightly and so fitted in her hospital bag easily. All in all they are ideal for the purpose and cannot be faulted.”
